Striving for a better life

I have job interview tomorrow. I'll be getting up at 6 (as usual) but rather than eating my Cheerios and hoping on my bike to ride downtown I'll be hopping in the car and driving about midway up New Hampshire for an interview in a town of 1,700 next to a giant lake surrounded by mountains.

The prospect of leaving CT has me feeling strange. I feel slightly less pissed and annoyed than usual. It's nice.

Wow, what will you do if you don't have to complain about hobos or drunks outside Newt's throwing bottles at you? Well, I'm sure someone in New Hampshire will be happy to throw bottles at you. You can't keep 1,700 people happy forever.
Sounds good, anyway. Hope it works out.

Everyone is leaving. Soon it'll just be me and Ben having sushi together. We'll just sit there, not speaking, while he inhales his diet coke and love boat.

I hope it went well today.

It looks like my place might end up as the midpoint. That's alright, we'll have extra bedrooms and a sushi place right up the road. And everybody who asks for money in Northampton does a trick or has some kind of routine.
